Playing with Clear CardStock from The Cutting Cafe Shop

WARNING...long post with lots of pictures!

It's inspiration time again from The Cutting Cafe!
This week we are playing with clear cardstock from The Cutting Cafe Shop
What's clear cardstock, you might ask, it's acetate or thin clear plastic that you commonly see used on shaker cards. I'm here to tell you that the fun with clear cardstock doesn't have to stop at shakers.
The Cutting Cafe has tons of files that you can use with it, including boxes, bags, tags, and cards.
Here's a few projects I made using clear cardstock.

The awesome Cheveron Background I used, is a file you can find at The Cutting Cafe
It works great with the clear cardstock

One of my favorite Cutting Cafe files is the Paper Flower. It makes the prettiest roses. I love that you can make them different sizes AND you can make them to match anything you are working on! I used pink cardstock this time for my Paper Flower. Once I had it all put together, I sprayed a little Prima Frost Spray Mist (purchased from Renea's Bouquets) on it for a little added texture.

The sentiment is stamped on clear cardstock and then embossed. Be careful not to go overboard with your heat tool so you don't melt the clear cardstock.

Embellishments from Gone ArstyLavish Laces, amd The My Bestie Shop were also used on the chevron card.

Here's a card that I made with the Assorted Card Folds  file. This one I made completely clear and then made another card to slip inside to write on. I left the colored cardstock unattached so it could be pulled out. I love the way that the clear card looks with this image from theeastwind
The image name is Aurora Prayer

Ok, we've all seen the famous pocket letters that are the rave right now, but have you seen mini pocket letters?! NO? Here's a great tutorial...Mini Pocket Letter. Fun, right?! What about being able to make a pocket letter ANY size you want?

That's what I did, with the clear cardstock from The Cutting Cafe Shop
This was super easy to do with my fuse.
If you don't have a fuse, you could use a sewing machine to make the pockets.

The adorable bathing suit and flip flops are also files from The Cutting Cafe. The bathing suit is from the Summer Fun Printable Stamp Set and the flip flops from the By The Sea Basic Shapes set. I filled the other pockets with stickers and things from misc Cricut image sets.

The adorable image is img081 from The My Bestie Shop. She is one of my favorite Fluffy My Besties yet!

Whew! You made it to the end!
Thank you for taking the time to visit and read my blog =)
