Thinking Of You A Latte!

SQUEEEAALLLL!!! So, the very talented Christine Young, artist of Paper Nest Dolls, messaged me and told me how much she loved my coloring. I was so excited!

Then she asked me if I would like to make a card for her...."WELL, OF COURSE!!" I'm totally honored!

I made a card using Avery With a Donut. Isn't she adorable!? I immediately thought of coffee and donuts when I saw her.

I colored Avery with Copic markers.

The Coffee Cup is a file from The Cutting Cafe. I cut it out with my Cricut Explore. I also made the butterfly embellishment using the Cricut.

I made the coffee cup into a gift card holder. When you pull on the steam (cheese cloth) of  the coffee out pops a gift card pocket =)

I had my Cricut write the sentiment too. I love the writing feature of that machine!

The lace and seam binding I used is from Gone Artsy

Lets Write A Letter With The Cutting Cafe

Hi everyone! Today I have something a little bit different to share with you.
The Cutting Cafe DT is working with the NEW Lets Write A Letter Set

It's  a little stationery kit. It comes with an envelope template, printable papers and more.
I cut out the pieces with my Cricut Explore.

I decided to go with a masculine design so I could send it to my Chemo Buddy
The papers I used are from a DCWV pack of cardstock.

The cute little pair of pliers is an eraser.

On the 21st The Cutting Cafe will put up the DT inspirational post with lots of other awesome projects using the Lets Write A Letter Set. If you leave a comment on that post, you will be entered in a chance to win 3 free Cutting Cafe files of your choice.

Thank you for stopping by! Have a craftastic day!

Shabby Chic Card With Ady Almanza Image

Hi everyone! I'm here to share a card I made using one of Ady Almanza's images.

I love this image. It reminds me of a sassy teen. You can see more of Ady's images in her Esty shop...Big Eyed Dolls Art

I colored the image with Copic markers. I'm sorry, I don't have the colors I used. I colored this one while my sister was in the hospital. My brain wasn't totally functioning at that time. Lol.

To embellish my card I used flowers and lace from Lavish Laces, a butterfly from Renea's Bouquets, dies, cheese cloth, a tag, doilies and twine.

Thank you for stopping by today.  Have a craftastic weekend!

Baby Bump Card

Hi everyone! We have some friends that are getting ready to have their first baby. Exciting right?!? I wanted to make her a special card for the baby shower. Saturated Canary had the perfect image.

The image is called About To Pop. Isn't she gorgeous? If you want any Saturated Canary images you'd better get them now. She is closing the shop soon. You can read more about that on the Saturated Canary blog.

I colored the image with Copic markers.

I embellished the card with flowers from Lavish Laces, lace and beads from Gone Artsy and butterflies from Renea's Bouquets.

At the baby shower we all decorated onsies for the baby. Here's a picture of the one I did.

Autumn Greetings From The Cutting Cafe

Hello crafty friends!
Can you believe Autumn is already upon us? The next thing you know its going to be Christmas!
Oh boy, I just stressed myself out with that thought!

Ok, back to Autumn...this week at The Cutting Cafe we are working with
  Autumn Sentiment Card Frames.

I LOVE this printable set! There is so many possibilities. You could use SVG's, digital stamps, stamps, pre colored images, flowers, leaves, sentiments or etc. in the center of them.

I opened the Autumn Greetings frame in Paint and then added a digital stamp from Ching-Chou Kuik called Autumn In Far North.

I colored the image with Copic markers, distressed the edges of my papers and added embossing powder for a little added texture.

The pine cones I used were a gift from my husband. He picked them up while he was out hunting.
He's seriously the BEST!

The Cutting Cafe will be posting all of the design team's projects in one post on the 7th. If you leave a comment on that blog post, you will be entered in a chance to win 3 free Cutting Cafe files of your choice. You won't want to miss out on all the awesome Autumn Sentiment Card Frame projects.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a safe and happy Labor Day!
