Reneabouquets Ice Skater Card

Hi everyone! Christmas may be over, but the snowy cold weather hasn't decided to leave just yet. I don't mind though. I love winter and the snow.

Which is why I like to create winter projects. Reneabouquets has so many beautiful items for winter projects.

A perfect example would be this lovely Printed Beautiful Board Ice Skater. She would look beautiful on any winter project! I sprinkled her with embossing powder to make it look like she was skating in the snow.

The Beautiful Board Bits Small Vintage Snowflakes are absolutely gorgeous. I inked them with distress inks before adding them to the card.

I thought the Christmas Red Mulberry Paper Poinsettia, Roses and Holly Leaves Set was the perfect pop of color for this winter scene.

Here is a list of all the Reneabouquets items that I used...

La La Land Crafts Luka's Stocking

Merry Christmas everyone! I am so excited for Santa to come! My husband and I stay up late setting up the gifts and stockings. Then we go to bed and lay there talking about how excited we are and end up waking the kids up at 3 or 4 in the morning.

In the spirit of Christmas, I made a stocking card for La La Land Crafts Friday inspiration.

I used the Christmas Sweater Luka stamp. Which is just perfect for a stocking.

I colored Christmas Sweater Luka with Copic markers

Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000, E0000
Hair: E29, E25, E11
Jeans: B99, B97, B95, B93
Stocking: R89, R29
Sweater, (tree, Y11, YG25 R29) Hat, and Boots: 110, C10, C7, C6, C5
White Fluffy Parts: C3, C1, C000 and white gel pen

I love this Pretty Poinsetta die! It pairs perfectly with the Shabby Flourishes die. I cut the Shabby Flourishes into pieces and made a little leafy arrangement for the Pretty Poinsetta

The stocking is made from Mulberry paper. I love how it looks fluffy like a real stocking. The checkered fabric was in my scrap stash.

This might just be my favorite Christmas card of the year!

Christmas Sweater Luka is so stinking cute!

Rubbernecker Stamps Christmas Tree Card

Good morning! Christmas is almost here! I am working like a crazy women to get some homemade gifts done for my family.

Had to take some time out for a little coloring R&R =)

This gorgeous Christmas Tree and Magic of the Season stamps are from Rubbernecker Stamps

After I colored the Christmas Tree with Copic markers, I added little dots with a white gel pen for snow. The tree reminds me of a tree that is along the highway here in Alaska. The tree is in the middle of what we call Hay Flats. It is a single tree standing alone. Every year, in December, the tree is decorated with lights by someone in the community. The decorator wants/wanted to remain anonymous. If I remember correctly, someone found out who he was and they ended up doing an article about it in the paper. Anyways, every time I see this tree it brings a huge smile to my face. To me, this is what Christmas is about. Loving your neighbor and spreading cheer however you can. This one man brings cheer to thousands of people every year by doing something as simple as putting lights on a tree along the highway.

What if we all tried to do something simple to spread a little bit of cheer every day? We may not affect thousands, but we could change one persons day. Brighten on persons Christmas Season.

The Church I belong to is doing 25 days of Service. Join us in spreading cheer this season. Do something to help someone everyday for the rest of the month. It doesn't have to be something huge. It can be as simple as giving someone a shoulder to lean on or a listening ear. We can all do service of some sort.

One of the service projects that my kids and I are doing along with a few church friends, is volunteering at the Special Santa's Workshop. It's a program here that shops and fills wish lists for local families in need. It's an amazing program. They help thousands of kids every year. Volunteering there is something we look forward to every year.

I'd love to hear how you've brightened someones Christmas. Come back and tell me all about your service! Also, hop on over to the Rubbernecker Stamps Blog to see what the rest of the DT came up with for Sweet Sunday Team Inspiration.

Sweet As Pie - With The Cutting Cafe

Boy do I have a treat for you! A big 'ol slice of Pumpkin Pie!

The Cutting Cafe design team is working with the Pie Slice Box. I used parts of the box to create a slice of pie. I thought it would make a cute card. I was right!

I found the plate in Cricut Design Space. Both the plate and the pieces for the pie were cut with the Cricut Maker.

The sentiment comes with the Pie Slice Box

I found a tiny fork in my stash. Perfect for a slice of pie!

The whip cream was done with a snow writer. I used a paint brush to spread it on a piece of card stock.

I'd better run for now. Gotta lots of things to do before Christmas! Pop in at The Cutting Cafe Blog and leave a comment on the DT inspirational post and you will be entered in a chance to win 3 free files of your choice.

See you again soon.

Breast Cancer Card - With Rubbernecker Stamps

Hi there! I am sharing a card made with the Courage Doesn't stamp from Rubbernecker Stamps today.

This sentiment made me think of cancer when I saw it. Fighting a disease, especially cancer, is a fight that takes a lot of courage.

A crafty friend of mine shared a sketch book that she had published. I was so excited for her. When I started looking through Inspired By The Sketch Volume 1, I found lots of cute sketches
Using card sketches is not something that I have done in the passed. I wanted to give at least one of Cristena's sketches a try.

OMG!! I created this card in a matter of minutes. Using a sketch makes crafting so much quicker! I didn't spend an hour placing embellishments and moving them around a hundred times before I was happy. I looked at the sketch and slapped the card together.

I am so excited about how fast this card went together. I will be using lots more sketches from Inspired By The Sketch Volume 1.

Winter Themed Tag - With La La Land Crafts

Good morning all! So excited to be coming to you with my first guest designer project for La La Land Crafts! I have been having a ton of fun working with their images.

The theme this week is create a tag. I used Winter Molli Rubber Stamp. She is just the cutest!

I colored Winter Molli with Copic markers and put in some highlights with a white gel pen.

Copics:
Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000, E0000 Blush R20
Hair: E49, E20, E25
Jacket, Hat, and gloves: R89, R29, R24, R05
Fluffy White Parts: W8, W5, W3, W1
Boots: 110, C8, C6

I created a little winter scene for Winter Molli using the La La Land Crafts  Three Christmas Tree Dies. I love this die! You can use it in so many ways. AND the La La Land Crafts dies are super sharp. You can cut out more than one set of Trees at a time by layering medium weight card stock and running it through your die cut machine.

Here's a closer shot of those gorgeous Christmas Trees. Each one is inked with a little Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress ink.

The base of the tag is the back from the package of Spectrum Noir markers.

It's about 12 inches long and pretty sturdy. Perfect for a tag. I covered it in white cardstock and then decorated. Super simple!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Please hop on over to the La La Land Crafts Blog to see what the rest of the DT made up for today's challenge.

Have a craftastic day!

Vintage Floral Card

Good morning! I have yet another vintage card to share with you.

I started out with the Blue Fern Happy Accident Collection Cardstock. I love this paper! I use it on my cards all the time.

I used two different Beautiful Board flourishes. The Beautiful Board Small Elegant Accents and the Beautiful Board Small Victorian Scroll Border. I cut them both into pieces so that they would go a little further.

The Rose Quartz Glitter Glass Butterflies are one of my favorite of Reneabouquets Handmade Butterflies.  They are perfect for a Vintage look.

I used a new technique with the Ranger Clear Emboss It Ink Dabber. I used a paint brush to add embossing ink in random places on the flowers and the bee. I then sprinkled white embossing powder over the placed I inked and used my heat tool to set the powder. I love the way it turned out!

Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit. Have a craftastic day!

Merry Christmoose with Rubbernecker Stamps

Good morning! It is Sweet Sunday Team Inspiration over on the Rubbernecker Blog. I chose to do a Christmas card for inspiration.

I used the adorable Moose with Lights 72-06 Stamp. I absolutely adore this stamp!
I colored it up with Copic markers. It almost looks like the lights are really on.

I have been learning new techniques in the coloring groups that I am in. It's amazing how many talented colorists there are.

The Moose with Lights 72-06 stamps also has a die that you can purchase. Here is the link...

The sentiment is MC Flourish Script 657 - 01. The font is just gorgeous!
