The image is a Ppinkydoll. I just love these images! I've colored her with Copic markers.

Love Is In The Air With The Cutting Cafe

Hello! I am getting so excited for Valentine Day! To be honest, it's a holiday that I haven't always liked, but being married to an awesome man and having babies has changed that.
This year, I am making Valentines for each of my kids and for both of my chemo buddies. It's a good thing The Cutting Cafe has so many awesome Valentine's.

For the cards I made today, I used Valentine Word Window - Template and Cutting Files
The Valentine Word Window - Template and Cutting Files comes with several different sentiments.
I worked with three of them...

XOXO

BE MINE

4 EVER

I decided to make this 4 EVER card for my chemo buddy to give to his partner. I also got him a small gift to give to her. I know that it can be hard for someone going through chemo to get out for shopping. I hope she likes it!

The adorable teddy bear is from Kadoodle Bug Designs. I used my Cricut to cut a pattern out of card stock and then used the pattern to make a tear bear.

He looks so cute holding the XOXO heart shaker.

I filled the XOXO shaker with microbeads. The Be Mine card is also a shaker. It is filled with tiny heart sequins.

Not only are these cards super cute, you can put one together in 10-15 minutes.

Ok, back to the craft room for me! Make sure you stop by The Cutting Cafe on the 21st to see the design team inspirational post. If you leave a comment on that post you will be entered in a chance to win 3 free files from The Cutting Cafe.  Have a craftastic day!

Valentine's Day with Faery Ink

Well, hello there! I am super excited about Valentine's Day. In the Goodwin house, we make the day about the entire family. We buy the kids little Valentine's gifts, I make a nice dinner, the hubby puts together a playlist of love songs and we eat the dinner in candlelight. Sometimes we even rent a hotel room for the night (the hotel has to have a pool of course) The kids love it!

You have to have cute Valentine's cards to go with the gifts, right?!?
There's nothing cuter than the FREEBIE from Faery Ink this month.
She is perfect for those little Valentine's that the kids trade at school. I made a couple tiny Valentine's with her...not sure if I will give these to my girls or if I will let them take them to school to give to friends.

It's crazy how the same image can look so different when colored up in different colors. Both images are colored with Copic markers.

I decided to go with non traditional Valentine colors for the first card I made. It was surprising to me how fast these little cards are to make and just as much fun as the big ones! The size of this card is aprox 4.25 x 4.25 inches.

Copics used
Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E11 R20 (blush)
Hair and eyes: E29, E25, E11
Clothes and shoes: V000, V01, V04, B91, B93, B95, B97, B99

Now on to the red, black and gold card. I really like this combo. The red really makes the card POP.

This one measures at about 3.75 x 4.75 inches. A little bigger than the other one, but still small and super cute. I used a white gel pen on the dress to get that sparkly effect.

Copics used
Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E11 R20 (blush)
Hair: Y19, Y15, Y000
Clothes and Shoes: R59, R24, C02, C04, C06, C08, C10
Wings; Y26 and Y28

Be sure to hop on over to the Faery Ink blog to get your FREEBIE. You only have 24 hours!
Also, I have a little note from Amanda, the Faery Ink artist...On release day I will be making an exception to my Terms of Use for this image. I'll allow people to color it once (or let their children color it etc.) and then print enough copies for their classroom to pass out for Valentine's day. So, if you have little ones in school and you'd like to do something like that - you are welcomed to.

Exciting huh? Amanda just made it super east to make Valentine's for both of my girls classes! LOVE THAT!!
Well, I guess I'd better get on that!
Thank you so much for stopping by to visit. Have a craftastic day!

New with KennyK Stamps

Hi everyone! I am so excited to announce that I am guest designing for KennyK stamps...actually, my sister and I both are! I absolutely love this stamp company! The KennyK group have been so supportive of my sister through her battle with lung cancer. They even named us Hottie's of the month for Dec. 2016. You can read more about that on their BLOG.

The image I decided to start out my GDT term with is Craft Star. This is a super fun image that is ready to get her craft on! Which is exactly why I decided to work with her. I am hoping this year will be a year of "NEW" crafts and craft goals. I have to say, I am off to a pretty good start with opening my Toadally Love To Craft Etsy Shop at the beginning of the year. I have had that on my one day list for a long time.

I love her craft belt and apron! I could so use one of those. We'll just add it to my long list of craft room desires.

I colored the image with Copic markers.

I am excited about the NEW year and what it will hold. I can tell you now that I have some NEW to me crafts on my list of to dos =) I will keep you posted!

Thank you for stopping by. If you are not a part of the Club KennyK on Facebook you should join! There are some fun challenges being planned. I know that Feburary's theme is "Red Hot" Sounds like something I don't want to miss out on!

Oh, I almost forgot to mention that this is the first time my sister, Daisy, is guest designing! I am super stoked for her. I am blessed to have a sister/best friend/craft buddy. I will be posting some of her projects here with mine. Can't wait!

Happy Birthday Paper Nest Dolls!

Hi everyone! Today is Paper Nest Dolls 4th birthday! I love these images!
I found them in 2016. I'm a little sad to say that I missed out on 3 years of them. No more though!

I made a card to celebrate Paper Nest Dolls birthday using the new image Ellie with Heart Cupcake.

If you get her today, she is only $1!

The cupcake is a shaker. I used the cupcake from the 13 Shaker Card Set from The Cutting Cafe. This file is a great buy. I use it a lot. Shaker cards are super fun to play with. There's something very relaxing about watching those tiny microbeads roll around.

Christine, the talent behind Paper Nest Dolls, is one of my favorite artists. She has some super exciting things planned for Paper Nest Dolls this year. So stay tuned! You won't want to miss out!

Oh! I almost forgot! Toadally Love To Craft now has an Etsy shop! I'm so excited to start on this adventure. For several years, friends and family have been trying to get me to open up a shop. I decided this was the year I'd do it. If you'd like to pop on over to the shop for a visit...https://www.etsy.com/shop/ToadallyLoveToCraft. I am having a blast with the shop so far. I designed cute little address labels and business cards with a little frog that I drew and I got green tissue paper to wrap all my orders in.

Thank you for stopping today. Hope you have a craftastic day!
Hugs,

Clean and Simple with The Cutting Cafe

Hi everyone! It's inspiration time over at The Cutting Cafe. This week we are doing clean and simple with Everyday Greetings Set 1 and Everyday Greeting Set 2
I don't know why, but I usually struggle with CAS cards. Not this time though...Regina made it so simple! I chose a sentiment and then chose a stamp that I thought went with it.
Here are the cards I made...

I colored each of the images with Copic markers.

(Little Darlings Stamp)

I LOVE, LOVE LOVE the way clean and simple cards look! And how fast they come together.
Both of these sentiment sets come with several different sentiments. Perfect for all occasions!

(Stamping Anniething Stamp)

Thank you for stopping in for a visit. Be sure to stop by The Cutting Cafe tomorrow for the DT inspirational post. If you leave a comment on that post you will be entered in a chance to win 3 free Cutting Cafe files of your choice.
